Project Goals: Adeem reached out to us to come up with an idea for a gig poster. He also needed something that would be pliable enough to work as a poster, event cover for Facebook, and individual posts on Instagram.
Our Solutions: There was an idea that had been bouncing around our head for a long time of marrying photography and painting. We shot a profile image of Adeem on a plain white wall, painted a bunch of different strokes on a piece of paper, scanned them into the computer, found the brushstroke that worked best, then kept layering on textures until the piece felt complete.
Results: Adeem was happy with how the piece turned out, continuing to utilize it after that single event. We even went back, changed up the color scheme, to promote a similar event the following year.
